Huckleberry Brush Co. (invented company) is a manufacturer and retailer of high-quality, handcrafted horse grooming supplies. The wordmark is inspired by vintage lettering and packaging, specifically by livestock posters, horse feed and saddle shops. The tagline communicates Huckleberry Brush Company's belief that horse happiness and product quality are paramount.
Two versions of the wordmark along with color variants.
To continue leaning into Huckleberry Brush Co.'s handcrafted, high-quality feel, illustrations were completed by hand and colored digitally of a huckleberry plant itself as well as Huck the horse to serve as company mascot, both in portrait and full-body. Each illustration has multiple variants and different possible color complexity depending on the substrate and usage.
Logo variants, including different use of color and of illustration.
Repeating patterns made with illustrations of the huckleberries and of Huck the mascot.
Color schemes for product packaging present on individual horse brushes, with each scheme corresponding to a different set of brushes. This pattern is inspired by the racing silks of Thoroughbreds and jockeys.
Example of the wrap flats with dimensions for soft and hard brushes within the set, bearing the logo, mascot, and tagline. Wraps would fit around each brush and allow for individual sale or to be sold as part of the complete set. Each scheme corresponds to a different set color, all named after horse coats: roan, chestnut, or black.
Selection of available brushes, displaying possible logo, wordmark or graphic placement as well as the wraps. Three different finishes are available, and each is named after a horse coat color.
Two different canvas tote options for carrying the brushes. Changeable color scheme as well as pattern or no-pattern options.
Merchandising displaying wordmark and logomark options and variety.
